Okay, where on earth does National Geographic find their photographers and how? Cause like seriously, all the photographers who worked and works with them have such wonderful photos, it's insane!

Photographer: Who Knows???
You might be wondering why I like this photo. It's because, if you're into history of photography, you know that back in the early years of photography, the process of taking a picture was long exposure to light meaning back then, in order to take a photo, you have to stay still for a long time just to get a single photo. That explains why people in really old pictures looked serious and had no smiles in their faces. That's just one of the processes of taking a photo, developing it is a whole nother process. And I know I explained that badly so go search it up yourself lol.
ANYWAY, why the photo of this Chinese guy? It's because its origin was mysterious. No one knows who took the photo and when exactly was it taken. Because of the big smile pose he chose to make, in a way made it difficult to identify cause seeing a big smile in photos is such a modern thing! Imagine tho if his face hurt after sitting in that pose for so long just to make the photo possible. lol
I'm also a bit skeptical cause maybe it could've been staged and was actually taken in our modern times, but this image is literally in a museum ( American Museum of Natural History) and is claimed to be taken between 1901 and 1904 so, who knows???? This what made me like this photo. ~The mystery~
Pale Blue Dot
That tiny dot is the Earth. This photo is taken by Voyager 1, the farthest spacecraft from Earth. NASA Launched Voyager 1, as well as Voyager 2 in the 1970s, and as of now (2026), Voyager 1 is now outside of our solar system. This is another topic, it's in the Science & Stuff category in the Nerd's Lobby. I Love the Voyager, it's my favorite spacecraft! I have more to yap about it so go to the science category for it haha! Okay imma shut up now.
Photographer: Who Knows 2: Electric Boogaloo (Whoever took this photo, I hope they know that this photo they took had a potential as a reaction meme on the internet, and whoever that girl was, I hope she knows that she's iconic for this photo)
This photo is called, "Anunciacion Chica" cause that's what's written at the back of the photo and was taken in Ilaya, Bauan, Batangas. It's estimated that this image was taken around 1900s, post-Philippine-American War. I couldn't find a source on who took the photo, but I found that the photo is from the collection of Ron-Ron Allanigue and was featured in a book called Consuming Passions: Philippine Collectibles. Now take this information with a grain of salt cause I need to dig deeper and do more research about this, all the information I just said about this are just the common details I have found when I did a bit research so I could be wrong. Anyway, the reason why I like this photo is because of the meme potential.

Whoever took this shot was unclear, however this photo is heavily credited to Charles C. Ebbets. But why are they unsure if he took the photo or not? It's cause apparently, there were other photographers in the site as well. Here's the other POV:
So this explains why the photo was heavily credited on him. But I have a more important question. WHO TOOK THIS PICTURE OF HIM?!
